SANC offers training to certifying officials and their staff to prepare to oversee SANC programs. Training is accomplished in two parts. The first is completing the free SANC e-Learning course (:Welcome to SANC”) that is available through the NPB. This training is available year-round and is self-paced. Even though you may not have a nursery or greenhouse that is interested in SANC at the current time, the concepts of SANC can be applied to any facility.
The second part is completing the USDA’s Understanding Audit course. This course is only offered at select times throughout the year and the USDA is currently piloting a hybrid training course with a virtual option. Contact your regional Plant Board leadership to find out when the Understanding Audit course is available.
